Warriors take down Celtics

On Saturday, the Warriors were at home hosting the Cornwall Celtics. After a close 20 minutes, the Warriors broke open the game with 3 straight goals to start the 2nd period, and cruised to a 12-7 victory.

Craig Johannson was great between the pipes again, making some critical saves to keep the Warriors lead. Ty Taylor had another big game with 8 points (3G, 5A), while Connor Curtis added 2 goals and 2 assists in his first game back from injury. Julian Mosier added 4 points as well (2G, 2A) and Matteo Siciliano added his first junior goal to his great defensive play this year. The full boxscore can be found here.

The Warriors have a busy weekend to end the season, with 3 games on the horizon.

South Shore Centurions (3-9) @ Whitby Warriors – Saturday, June 18 – Iroquois Park, 8pm

North Shore Kodiaks (9-2) @ Whitby Warriors – Sunday, June 19 – Iroquois Park, 2pm
