Tough weekend in QC

The Warriors traveled short-handed to the Far East this past weekend to take on the two Montreal teams.

In the first game, the Warriors were in tight against the North Shore Kodiaks after the first, up 3-2 after the first period. The Kodiaks would tie it in the second frame, and eventually pull away in the final period. The Warriors would fall 10-7 in their first Quebec game. Matt Cornish and Ty Taylor would lead the way for the Warriors, each with 2 goals and 2 assists. Adam Smellie also joined in with a goal and assist on the scoresheet. On the Sunday, the Warriors travelled to South Shore. It was a tight game the entire way, and needed overtime to decide a victor. There were 5 goals scored in overtime, and unfortunately, South Shore pulled out the win, leaving the Warriors with a 11-10 overtime loss. Taylor led the way again, adding 4 goals and 2 assists to his total. Max McPherson was able to add 2 goals in transition, and Erik Andersson added 3 assists. The full boxscore can be found here.

The Warriors are back in action this Wednesday at home against the Clarington Shamrox.
