The Warriors made their second trip to the Far East this weekend, to take on the Cornwall Celtics and Nepean Knights.

On Saturday, the Warriors battled with the Celtics. The goaltending was outstanding on both sides, and goals were hard to find for all 60 minutes. However, the Warriors were able to pull out the win, with a final score of 6-4. Matt Cornish had a hattrick, and added an assist in the win. Julian Mosier and Ty Taylor each added a goal and two assists. Craig Johannson was outstanding between the pipes. The full boxscore can be found here.

On Sunday, the battle-tested Warriors traveled to Ottawa to take on the Nepean Knights. It was a close game after 40 minutes, with the Warriors trailing just 8-7. The Warriors failed to find the back of the net in the final frame, and Nepean pulled away. The Warriors fell 12-7 when the buzzer sounded. Taylor fired home 4 goals in the loss, despite being shadowed by the defense for the entire game. Robbie Baxter added 4 assists to his total. The full box score can be found here.

The Warriors are looking for revenge this Wednesday against a hot Peterborough Lakers team.
