For the second year in a row, the Warriors are heading to the Eastern Conference Finals to take on the defending champions Peterborough Lakers. After being disposed of in a 3 game sweep last year, the Warriors are looking for some payback and their first ever trip to the Meredith Cup in August.

On Tuesday night, the Warriors took on the Clarington Shamrox in game 3 of the Eastern Semi-Finals. Again, this game started out close, with the game in a 2-2 tie after the first period. The Warriors were able to pull ahead in the 2nd, and hold the lead for a final score of 17-10. Matt Andersson was unstoppable on the night, with a career high 10 point night (5G, 5A). Connor Platt added 7 points (3G, 4A), and Devin Gilligan added a hattrick and 2 helpers. 3 defensive goals came from Ben Macdonnell (2G) and John Wheller (1G). Owen Agnew was back in the lineup, and continued his dominance on the draw. Zack Hubbard was strong between the pipes. The full boxscore can be found here.

Stay tuned for our schedule for the next round.
