The Warriors have completed their perfect season with a final game victory of their Durham region rival, the Clarington Shamrox.

After a rescheduling of the final regular season game for both teams, due to the referee lockout, the Warriors headed to Rickard arena on Wednesday for a chance to be flawless. Another tight first period between these teams saw them tied at 1. However, the second period was a different story. With 8 unanswered goals, the Warriors disposed of the Shamrox, and took the victory 12-2. It was a full team effort, as no player had more than 4 points on the night. Rookie Mike Andersson put up a hattrick and a helper, while Devin Gilligan added a hattrick himself. Matt Shand added another 4 points (1G, 3A) to his total. Zack Hubbard was stellar on the night as the net-minder, and was able to hit the game sheet with 2 assists as well. The full boxscore can be found here.

Stay tuned for our playoff schedule, as we await the first round matchups to be completed.
