The Warriors find themselves on the bottom end of a 2-0 deficit and will need to find a way to top the Lakers in the series. The Warriors were all over Peterborough in the 2nd period, having a 5 goal period, and tying the game at 6-6. However, the Warriors couldn’t find the back of the net in the 3rd, and ended losing 11-6. Adam Allman had another big game for Whitby. Wyatt Craik finished as the leading scorer for the Warriors with a 2 goals and 1 assist. David Cormack had a goal and an assist in the loss, while Devin Gilligan and Matty Andersson each had 2 assists. Austin Tracogna, Keegan White and Matt Abramczuk all finished with a goal, while Darren Elliott, Chris McDonald and James Grant finished the game with an assist each. The Warriors are back in action on Friday at 8pm in Peterborough at Memorial Centre for game 3.
