Hitting their stride

The Whitby Warriors are moving up the standings. This past weekend, they secured another 2 wins. In their first game, the Warriors were able to take down the Barrie Bombers in what proved to be a very defensive game. Adam Allman was stellar, as he was able to hold the Bombers to just 3 goals. He was also able to grab an assist in the win. Austin Tracogna and Dave Cormack each had 2 goals and 1 helper, while Wyatt Craik had 1 goal, 2 assists. Also getting goals were Anthony Brosseau, Liam Scott, and call-up Hunter Hyland. Darren Elliott had 3 assists, Chris McDonald had 2, and Connor Scott finished with 1. The Warriors then made a long trip to Gloucester this past Sunday for the first meeting with the Griffins. The Warriors came out on top 11-6. Craik had another big game with 4 goals and 2 assists. Matt Andersson also played well with 5 points (2G, 3A). Tracogna and Cormack each had 2 goals and 2 helpers in the win, while Keegan White had 1 goal, 1 assist. Liam Scott finished with 2 assists and Darren Elliott finished with 1. Taylor Welsh played dominant between the pipes again. For the full box score, click here.

The Warriors are back home this weekend with games Friday against Huntsville (8pm start) and Saturday against Gloucester (7pm start), both at McKinney.
