The 2016 season got off to a great start with a strong showing in Huntsville this past Saturday. In the season opener, the Warriors played tough on both ends of the floor. Halfway through the first period, Wyatt Craik (1G, 1A) was able to get the game’s first goal and the Warriors were able to hold the lead for the rest of the game. The final score was 4-2, with David Cormack, Matt Andersson and Chris McDonald with 1 goal each, while Darren Elliott had two helpers, and Austin Tracogna, Jacob Twohey and Adam Allman all with one. Allman had a great game between the pipes with some crucial saves late to hold the lead. The full boxscore can be found on here.

The Warriors are in Peterborough on May 7 (Saturday) at 7pm. For all live updates of the Warriors games, check out our twitter page @warriors_jrc.
